At Anthem Preparatory School, service is not an occasional event—it’s a consistent part of student life.

Service Integration at Anthem Prep

We believe meaningful service builds empathy, responsibility, leadership, and community awareness. Through schoolwide projects, community partnerships, and student-led initiatives, Anthem Prep students learn that character is strengthened through action.

Service as a
Schoolwide Commitment

Service is woven into our campus culture across grade levels. Students participate in annual traditions as well as opportunities that respond to real needs in our community. These experiences help students develop a mindset of contribution, teamwork, and leadership—skills that carry into college, careers, and lifelong citizenship.

Annual & Ongoing Service Projects

Teddy Bear Project

One of Anthem Prep’s most beloved traditions is our Annual Teddy Bear Project, where students collect and donate teddy bears to bring comfort and encouragement to children in need. This project is a powerful reminder that small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact.

Food and Clothing Drives

Throughout the year, Anthem Prep hosts food and clothing drives to support local families and individuals experiencing financial challenges. Students and families donate nonperishable food items, seasonal clothing, coats, and essential supplies, helping meet immediate needs while promoting dignity and compassion.

Blankets for Children’s Hospitals

Students participate in service projects providing blankets for Children’s Hospitals, offering warmth and comfort to children receiving medical care. This initiative highlights the importance of empathy and care during challenging times.

Peer Mentoring and Tutoring

Service at Anthem Prep also takes place within our school community. Through peer mentoring and tutoring, students support one another academically and personally, strengthening both leadership skills and school culture.

Peer mentoring and tutoring help students:

  • Build confidence and communication skills

  • Strengthen academic understanding

  • Foster positive relationships across grade levels

  • Develop leadership through service to others

Community Partnerships

The Bradley Center

Anthem Prep is proud to partner with the Bradley Center, supporting meaningful outreach efforts that connect students to real community needs. Through service projects and donation drives, our students have the opportunity to give with purpose and learn the impact of consistent community support.

Utah Honor Flight

Anthem Prep also supports Utah Honor Flight, helping honor and serve veterans through special projects and outreach. These experiences allow students to express gratitude, learn from the stories of those who served, and participate in efforts that strengthen intergenerational respect and community connection.

A Culture of Service and Leadership

Anthem Preparatory School is dedicated to developing students who are prepared for success and committed to making a positive impact. By integrating service into everyday school life, students learn that leadership begins with compassion and action.
