Academic Program
Early learning classes at Anthem Prep provide a high-quality, academically rich educational experience in a nurturing, Christian environment. Our goal is to prepare students not only for kindergarten success, but for lifelong learning, strong character development, and confident leadership.
Program Directives
Phonics-Based Reading Instruction
Christian Foundation
A systematic phonics approach will build strong early literacy skills including letter-sound recognition, blending, phonemic awareness, and decoding.
Faith will be integrated through prayer, character lessons, and values such as kindness, integrity, responsibility, and service.
Classical Education Elements
Public Speaking & Storytelling
Age-appropriate classical methods will emphasize rich language exposure, memorization through songs and chants, quality literature, and sequential learning.
Students will participate in show-and-tell, story retelling, dramatic play, discussions, and performances to build confidence and communication skills.
STEM Exploration
Leadership & Character Development
Hands-on activities will introduce science, engineering, math reasoning, nature study, and inquiry-based discovery.
Students will develop responsibility, independence, teamwork, respectful communication, and goal-setting habits.
Whole Child Development
Outdoor Play & Physical Development
Full-day students will have three recess periods daily (morning, after lunch, afternoon). On PE days, students will have two recesses plus structured PE.
Outdoor play supports brain development, behavior, social skills, physical strength, and emotional regulation.
Enrichment Programs
Students will participate in PE, music, Spanish, and creative arts.
Expected Outcomes
This program combines academic rigor, structured instruction, meaningful play, enrichment, and Christian values to position Anthem Preparatory Preschool as a premier early education option.
